Introduction :
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team at Global Team Staffing, LLC. As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent cocktail-making skills, a deep knowledge of various beverages, a friendly personality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
2. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking beverage and food orders accurately.
3. Assess customers' preferences and make recommendations based on their tastes and the menu.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about the menu, and ensuring their satisfaction.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, polishing glasses, and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
6. Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding the sale, service, and consumption of alcohol.
7. Upsell additional beverages, food items, and promotional offers to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
8. Collaborate with other bar staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
9. Handle cash transactions accurately, including handling guest's checks and processing payments.
10. Follow all established safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications :
1. Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, spirits, wines, craft beers, and mixology techniques.
3. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and team members.
5. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drink preparation and presentation.
6. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
7. Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
8. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
9. Certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.
